WARM GREETINGS TO ALL WONDERFUL STEEMIANS

It is another amazing week with gastronomy team. l have acquired a lot of knowledge for free here which encourage me to participate in this week's engagement challenge.

Learning new things on daily and weekly basis really keeps me going. It helps me to improve my cooking skills. For this week, l enjoy hot liquids starter and hot solid starter. This Frist half is quite interesting, so please, follow through as l will be answering my homework task.

Of the two types of hot starters mentioned, which is your favorite? Tell us. Have you prepared a hot liquid or solid starter for any menu?

Yes I've prepared both hot liquid and solid starter for some menu. But my favourite is hot liquids starter. Here in my country we are blessed with different kinds of soup and tasty stew that comes with alot of nutritional values. To shock, I personally can't stay a week without cooking soup once or twice.

Talking about solid starter, it comes on an irregular basis. Since cooking is one of the hobbies and cherishes, l enjoyed preparing both hot liquid and solid starter at home but occasionally and parties.

We would like you to prepare 1 type of starter (quantity for 1 person) of those explained in this course (hot liquid or hot solid). It is important to explain the preparation process and present it in an appropriate way for an starter.

Waking this morning, it was freezing outside in my area so l decided to prepare chicken soup.
Chicken pepper soup is one the hot liquids starter cherish by thousands of people in my country. It is usually prepares for dignitaries in an occasion. It is also one of the best meal for women immediately after child brith and during breastfeeding.

Different people have different ways of preparing chicken pepper soup but the main ingredient which is chicken. l will be showing you how l prepared mine with some spice that gives me an apertizing flavour.

This quality is enough for one person, since it is just a hot liquids starter. I have adjusted the camera to for it to look clear but l also realised that it had a large view to my photo.

What cooking method did you use to prepare your starter?

As a good student, I don't have the right to forget some of the most important part of our lesson. I learned different cooking Method some weeks ago,it was dry heat, moist heat and combined method.

The method l used is moist heat method. From my preparation, l used water to Cook the two main ingredient which is chicken and plantain. This moist heat technique requires liquid for preparation.

Which main dish and which dessert would go with the starter you just prepared? Imagine a 3-course menu that goes with your starter.

Welcome to my imagination, you will also imaginate with me, as l will be listed the 3- course Menu for you.

Starter- Chicken and plantain pepper soup.

Main dish: Carribean rice with grilled fish or pounded Yam with white soup.

Dessert: Watermelon, Banana, Apple and yogurt mixed smoothie.

Thanks so much for going through my homework from the beginning to the end,I would like Say a big thank to our both teacher @karianaporras and nahela for helping to learn more about cooking and also invite @goodybest, @bossj23 and @patjewell to participate in this week engagement challenge.
