Its my honor to take part in last week challenge i really enjoyed it and I have learned a lot and I am thankful to respectful professor who were there to guide us.

In my point of view refreshing drinks/juices are part of our meal to maintain the balance in diet and also keep good hydration level and energy too.


Alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, which is the best option for you to accompany a menu? Tell us.

Being Muslim we drink non-alcoholic drinks and these are good source of energy and also the nutrients and its not bad to accompany them in our diet on and off specially in accordance with weather and in food we enjoyed it really.

I mostly made beverages, juices and milk shake which are good for health in case of milk shake I avoid to used super in it rather I prefer to add honey which is good for health.


We would like you to prepare a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to accompany a dish (starter, main course or dessert).

I am going to prepare a juice which is non-alcoholic I have choose health friendly ingredients for it and these are a rich source of hydration for me and my family.

I am going to combine it with my main dish cucumber juice is perhaps my family favorite ones its light and also gave freshness and we feel light I add it with main food menu in replace of water.

Let's prepare it.

Ingredients I have used


  • cucumber 1
  • Honey 1 tsp
  • Lemon
  • Water 1 glass
  • Mint few leaves
  • Salt pinch

How i Prepare it.


I take cucumber and peeled it after washing, cut it into pieces. Then I cut the 1 lemon and few leaves of mint. I take blender jug and put all things in jug. Added one glass of water in it.

I blend it and added 1 tsp honey and pinch of salt. Again mixed it. Its ready.

I stained it to removed the particles that were Left. I used remaining lemon to give it final look.

I have served cucumber juice it with steamed chicken and boiled rice I couldn't take picture.

Why did you choose this drink and dish combination?

I have choose steamed chicken and rice with refreshing juice. In my view its a healthy and nutrients r8cu combination with lower calories.

The juice is rich in nutrients and also low calories. Its about total 20 calories if we weight it out including honey and cucumber.

Me parece fabuloso el jugo de pepino con limón y menta, muy saludable y refrescante además.
Interesante la pizca de sal que agregas al jugo, creo que es muy común en tu país ya que he leído otras personas que lo hacen.

Nunca he hecho jugo de pepino, debo hacerlo.
