Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm here with my entry to compete in the last week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 20. Beverages are an important part of our daily food list. Beverages can be selected according to the taste and texture of each food menu. Today I will show you a drink that is served in our country with starters or as welcome drink with snacks.

Today I will show you how to make Blue Moon Drink with soft drinks. Although it is very easy to prepare which we prepare very easily at home and serve it with savory dishes. So without further delay I am showing you every step of making.

Alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, which is the best option for you to accompany a meal?

I find that non-alcoholic beverages go best with food. Because according to my culture in my country every meal is served with non-alcoholic food. And it is very popular here.

Non-alcoholic drinks with any food menu are very much preferred and enjoyed in this country very comfortably. I have never drunk alcohol. So I'm better with non-alcoholic drinks than alcoholic ones, which you can combine with different ingredients to make the drink taste good.

We would like you to prepare a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to accompany a dish (starter, main course or dessert)

At this stage I will show you how to prepare a drink with my starter which is very popular in our country. If it is very simple and common. However, its test is very good. So I have presented its materials below.

Ingredients

Soft Drinks (spite)	As much as for one person
Lemon	1 teaspoon
Sugar	Like Quantity
Bit Salt	1 Pinch
Food Color	Like Quantity

Making process

Step : 01

---

• In the first step I will cut the lemon into slices. Then I grab a lemon slice and squeeze the lemon juice over the top of the glass.

Step : 02

• Then I place the top of the glass with the lemon juice on the sugar plate. Then I will see that the upper part of the glass is decorated with sugar.

Step : 03

• Then I will take soft drinks (Spite). I'll add some Spite here. I won't fill the whole glass.

Step : 04

• Then I will add a pinch of bit salt. And then I will add a teaspoon of lemon juice and mix well.

Step : 05

• After mixing all my ingredients I will add soft drinks and fill a glass.

• Finally, the best part of my drinks is the addition of food coloring. I have taken blue color here. I took a small amount of food coloring to make the drinks I made look very appealing. And after giving the food color I will mix it well.

Step : 07

• This is how my drinks look like after mixing in the food colouring. That's why its name is Blue Moon Drinks. However, I add a lemon wedge to the top of the glass to decorate my Blue Moon drinks.

As per the theme of the challenge I chose this drink along with the starter here. And I said earlier that the demand for these drinks with starters or snacks is very high in our country. But today the dish that I have selected as a starter is “Bakarkhani”. We locals take this dish as a starter. This food is available in different flavors. But I have taken salty bakarkhani to match my drinks. Because the taste of soft drinks is a little sweet, it makes a great combination with my starter.

Why did you choose this drink and dish combination?

First of all, I chose these drinks because soft drinks are non-narcotic liquids that are carbonated and flavored with sugary ingredients. Its demand is worldwide.

And only with these soft drinks we make different delicious drinks which we drink as Refreshing Drinks with food. So since this refreshing blue moon drink is sweet, I opted for salty food to accompany it.

Because we all know that salty enhances the taste, it works very well with sweet. How it works is, my Blue Moon Drinks with (Bakarkhani) as a starter is a perfect combination to make our body tolerating sweet and salty food as well as feel satiated. Which made the menu taste, texture and aroma perfectly balanced.
