Assalamu'alaikum everyone.

With my boundless love and warm regards to all of my seniors Steemian and all my fellows today I'm starting my post. For being a part of the Season #20 challenge announced by Madam @nahela today I'm here. Today mam has brought an interesting topic a combination of Beverages with snacks. I am excited to share my participation among all the experienced Steemians.

✅ Alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, which is the best option for you to accompany a meal? Tell us.

In my very personal opinion, any drink containing alcohol is not good for our health. Alcoholic drinks harm us mentally and physically. Also as a Muslim, I always avoid alcoholic beverages for Islamic values. Alcoholic drinks make our brains slowly dull and inactive. Many tasty and delicious non-alcoholic drinks can be found around us. Those drinks also have many health benefits. Among all the non-alcoholic drinks we may mention – various types of fruit juices, various milkshakes, ice teas, herbal teas, various mocktails, and many more.

✅ We would like you to prepare a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to accompany a dish (starter, main course or dessert). It is important to explain the preparation process and the result of the drink only. (quantity for 1 person)

For my today's beverages I am going to represent "Shahi Lassi" which is my favorite one and it is also a healthy and delicious drink. A glass of cold "Shahi Lassi" in the midst of heat refreshes our body by filling it with tranquility. I made up these drinks for three persons for some personal I couldn’t able to make it for one person.

So let's start today with our prepared "Shahi Lassi"

After gathering all the ingredients I took a liter of milk in a pot and set it on strove.

Into the milk pot I added all the cardamom for having a fragrance into my drinks.

The milk in the pan I non stop stirring it so that the milk does not stick to the pan.

After that, I added two cups of powdered milk into the boiled milk. This time I have to be careful because if both the milk are not melted properly then powder milk can be made clot.

Hereafter I have cut all the nuts and keep in a small bowl.

I have chopped all the nuts among them I used half into the boiled milk.

I didn’t stop stirring the milk the process was going on. I kept stirring the milk until the quantity of one-liter milk didn’t become 500 grams.

When the milk came to my desired quantity, then I separated the cardamoms from it. After that, I kept the milk at normal room temperature until it cooled.

Meanwhile the sweet curd I whipped up very well. I whipped it for 15 minutes. Then the consistency becomes thicker.

I put the milk into the whipped curd. I mixed the curd and the milk very well. I mixed these two very well so that there were no lumps between them. Then the consistency becomes thicker.

After churning like this for 10 to 12 minutes, the consistency of curd came like this.

Into a clean Beverage glass and into it pour some crushed ice.

For garnishing it I put the chopped nuts onto the top layer and served it.

This "Shahi Lassi" beverage was really delicious and above my expectations.

Since our drink is a sweet drink made which is made with milk and curd, so I think a spicy and salty food item will be the perfect match for it. So as a snack, I choose the "Muglai Paratha". "Muglai Paratha" is a paratha specially made with flour, egg, onion, chili, and coriander which is very delicious to eat. These snacks "Muglai Paratha" and drinks "Shahi Lassi" are very complementary to each other.

I see that the drinks you make are very delicious. But I felt a little surprised. How would it taste if the drink was mixed with cardamom??,, I have never done it. Usually I mix cardamom into the seasoning.

Thank you so much Sir @chefdanie, for your valuable comments on my post. Sir, basically I used cardamom only for having a good fragrance. I agree with you Sir having cardamom in a bite tastes so bitter. That's why in the fourth step I separated the cardamom before keeping the "Shahi Lassi" at room temperature. I would like to request you to try these drinks at home because it's taste awesome and I'm sure you'll repeat these drinks. This is one of our country's traditional drinks which was also taken by the emperors.
