Australian Plebiscite: Should the Law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry ?

Hi Steemies, today I received my Australian Plebiscite voting form asking the question: Should the law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry?

Plebiscite: A direct vote in which the entire electorate is invited to accept or refuse a proposal, A vote in which a population exercises the right of National self-determination.

Well, first of all, i think it is fantastic that the Australian Government have given the population the opportunity to vote on this important matter. I myself am not gay, I will most likely vote yes, I believe that love knows no boundaries so if you happen to like the same sex and fall in love who am I to stop you from getting married.

I would love to know your thoughts or comments on the subject.
