here is the battle link - https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=c978e86611c9b4bddea338135cb9757ccf859a97&ref=steallion
This week theme : GIANT SQUID
- Although there are far larger monsters in the oceans, Giant Squids are some of the most ruthless. They leave trails of corrosive ink wherever they go, and they enjoy toying with their prey before killing and eating it. Luckily for otherwise vulnerable water-breathers, the moaning cry of the Giant Squids announces their arrival for miles in every direction. Source
Edition : UNTAMED
Rarity : RARE
Type : MONSTER
Element : WATER SPLINTER
I uploaded video on youtube-
My lineups
LORD ARIANTHUS
- While passing through the galaxy on his starship, the great and powerful Lord Arianthus noticed signs of life on a planet below. Apparently monsters of all sorts were battling one another in endless competition. Lord Arianthus, enjoying battle and competition very much himself, decided to land on the little planet. He would show these puny monsters the meaning of defeat! Source
Lord ariantus is a legendary neutral monsters which is used as a tank to soak all damages, my lord is at maxed level who has Shield, Void, Magic reflect & Thorns ability. In maxed level it has 9 health with 1 speed, and its only of 5 mana. And im using in my most battles.
NAGA WINDMASTER
- Since they are an amphibious people, Naga of the Water Splinter generally prefer to live under the waves, where life is decidedly easier to control. Still, some of the most rebellious of the gilled have decided to make their homes in the open air. These Wind Naga have taken a special interest in the air itself, which they find easier to manipulate with their magic than the waters below. Some of the Wind Naga have developed strong magical abilities that harness the powers of the wind and air. They are one of the only forces in the Splinterlands that can halt a Dragon in flight. They are known as Naga Windmasters.Source
I have maxed my NAGA WINDMASTER to level 8 it is most usable monsters on low mana caps as well as in Keep the Distance ruleset. It has 2 ranged attack and 4 health with 4 speed. It is from reward edition, rarity if rare and from Water element . It has Heawinds , shatter and poison ability , which make him a beast in only 4 mana.
GIANT SQUID
- Although there are far larger monsters in the oceans, Giant Squids are some of the most ruthless. They leave trails of corrosive ink wherever they go, and they enjoy toying with their prey before killing and eating it. Luckily for otherwise vulnerable water-breathers, the moaning cry of the Giant Squids announces their arrival for miles in every direction. Source
My GIANT SQUID is at level 4 only, who has 5 health , 2 ranged attack with 2 speed , it has only blind ability on level 4.
CRUSTACEAN KING
- he intelligent Crustaceans of ΛZMΛRÉ are the result of ancient genetic experiments. They became too smart to be contained, escaped from their bondage and developed their own city on the edge of the Dark Water. Led by the Crustacean King, they farm the vast kelp fields of ΛZMΛRÉ. Source
CRUSTACEAN KING is also maxed and its from water element , rarity is common & from beta edition , my crustacean king has 2 ranged attack , 4 health & 2 armor with 1 speed, it has tank heal and protect ability.
ALBATROSS
- Albatross have recently migrated from the other side of the world. They have a mejestic beauty that stuns onlookers who see them fly by. In battle, they use their long beaks as sabres and their razor-sharp wing feathers to slice at their enemies. The Pirates of Azmaré hold strong superstition that anyone who kills an Albatross will be doomed to a lifetime of bad luck, but still sometimes a fight must be made, for the Pirates’ own defense. Source
mine albatross is at level 6 which has tank heal and flying ability with 5 speed and have 2 health, its from untamed edition and rarity is common which is from the water element.
PIRATE ARCHER
The Pirates of ΛZMΛRÉ have destroyed countless ships and crews with muskets and cannons, but recently they have added archery to their arsenal. Their arrows explode into flame upon contact. When they attack at night, the Archers like to go for the sails first; it makes a nice light show. Source
this monster is from reward edition, its rarity is rare and its from water splinter. mine pirate archer is maxed maxed which has 2 ranged attack , 4 speed and 4 health with blast ability.
Tell us about your lineup. Explain why you put each card in that.
i put lord at first as it is a good tank with shield , void , thorns and magic-reflect to soak all enemy damage , then i puted naga windmaster because it has ability to reduce ranged attack of enemy monsters and can shatter enemy's armor with poison, for third position i selected my GIANT SQUID because it has low speed and blind ability which increase the chance for enemy monsters of missing their targets , & ruleset was in favor of these monsters that was reverse ruleset. In 4th position i choosen crustacean king as it has tank heal which can heal my tank monsters which is on first position and it cost only 3 mana with providing all friendly monsters +2 armor, then for 5th position i selected my 6th level albatross to provide more heal to my tank monsters and it also cots 1 mana only, and at last i selects pirate archer becasue i have only 2 mana left and i didn't see any best option to choose so i selected pirate archer who has blast ability of ranged attack which can give damage to second monsters , & this team makes me win against bot , which was quite easy win..
Did your strategy work?
yes, my strategy worked for me .
Do you use the giant squid often? Why or why not?
no , not really as you can see my giant squid is only at 4 th level and if i use against maxed level then their will more chances of loosing battles, but it will be good use little league + reverse speed ruleset...
