What is law about gravity?

The law of gravity often referred to as Newton Law Of Universal Gravitation. It is a fundamental principle in physics that describe the gravitational attraction between two masses. The law states:

"Every particle of matter in the universe attract every other particle with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers".

This force is always attractive it pulls objects one another. The gravitational force is stronger if either of the masses is larger. The force decrease rapidly as the distance between the object increases. If the distance between objects is double than gravitational force become one-fourth. Newton Law Of gravitational explain why planet orbits the sun. The gravitational pull of the moon on earth causes tides in the Earth's ocean. The weight of an object is a force exerted on it due to gravity. The law of gravity is essential in understanding the motion of stars.
