현재 대표적인 3세대 블록체인 기술 기반 가상통화로는 미국의 이오스(EOS), 일본의 카르다노(ADA), 중국의 네오(NEO) 등이 있다. 이들은 각각 가상통화 시가총액 순위 9위, 5위, 7위(9일 코인마켓캡 기준)를 기록할 만큼 큰 관심을 받고 있다.

블록체인 기술을 활용한 다양한 솔루션을 제공하는 기업 관계자들도 참석해 눈길을 끌었다. 이날 컨퍼런스에서는 블록체인 기술을 활용해 개인이 직접 신용정보를 관리하는 서비스를 연구중인 마이크레딧체인(MyCreditChain) 양재봉 대표, 인공지능과 로봇기술을 블록체인과 결합하는 방안을 연구중인 퓨처로봇 송세경 대표가 블록체인 활용 방안에 대해 발표했다.
