Good morning Steemians,
It is the beginning of a brand new day, new week and I want to start this day with this motivational post that talks about being focused.
Are you focus?
Do you multitask and lose track?
Are you afraid to take risks because of fear of losing and not winning?
You shall get answers to these question and change your orientation about what you do after reading this post.

One of the most important quality successful people possess is the ability to stay focused. According to Robert Kiyosaki, an American investor, businessman, self-help author and motivational speaker, F.O.C.U.S means Follow One Course Until Successful – the emphasis here being on Until Successful. Most students, politicians, entrepreneurs, leaders fail because they lack the strength of character and the ability to stay on course until successful.

It is easy to stay on track when we first have an idea and set a goal. The motivation is often strong and healthy at the beginning. As time goes on, it is possible to start losing focus and getting off course. At this stage, the difficulties encountered in the process can make one to start to derail. Focus is key to success. Highly focused people carry out their activities diligently and get their work done in no time.

We can learn a lesson from snipers. One of the skills a sniper must possess is the ability to shoot accurately from far away –FOCUS. This is not a day’s job. Snipers are diligent persons who practice regularly and have faith in their rifle. Practicing is a way to improve and develop ones performance on the battlefield to avoid panic when the enemies approach. The Boys scout’s motto comes handy at this point, “Be Prepared”. Be focused.

We can also learn from great free kick takers like David Beckham, Pirlo, Cristiano Ronaldo in the game of football. Their focus skill is top-notch. When they are set to take the free kick, they fix their gaze at the spot where they want the ball land. No matter how far they are to the goal post, they achieve their aim even though it is not always easy but they are focused. They ignore the wall built in front of them by the players of the opposition and lift the ball above them passing the goalie into the back of the net.

Focus is essential in any field man finds himself. We need to be focused to survive. Focused people don’t quit when things get tough, hey only get stronger. It is losers and unfocused people that quit. You can never be successful by quitting. Also, a focused person that wants to succeed must ignore all the distractions that surround his success - distractions break concentration, cause fatigue and derail you from achieving your goals.

Be focused, take risks, don’t quit and you will be successful.
