Cutting gemstones
Here's a quick video of me polishing some petrified palm wood and a piece of mahogany obsidian from California. I still need to keep polishing some of the scratches out tomorrow when it warms up. I'll get some decent pictures of the other gems I finished up as well. Here's a snap from D-tube lol just wasted a hour or so trying to upload this video over there. Got bored of that and decided to post it on You-Tube instead.
Hope everyone is having a pleasant evening. Please upvote, follow, and resteem.

They come out really beautiful!
Thanks you. Did a better job on them than I did figuring out how to get the text and the video to both upload. Still getting used to posting on this type of format lol.
There is definitely a learning curve.
That's a fact.
Beautiful stones! Does it take long to polish and
shape them on the grinder? I've only used rock
tumblers years ago.
That mahogany obsidian is so cool!!
It's definitely time consuming on this machine. On average it probably takes me an hour per stone. They have machines that take less time but cost a whole lot more, though.
But this machine is set up to facet gemstones, isn't it? I would love to be able to do that!
Cabs are Beautiful, but faceting is an art form. Have fun.
