Geopolitical Analysis Summary - General

in #geopolitics7 years ago (edited)

Hey all! Whether you're new to the topic or an old hand observing the great game, there's a big story unfolding in the world around you and you have the opportunity to witness it first hand and do what you can to prepare for, understand, and influence the larger movements in the world. Some people would probably consider me a bit of a wingnut, but I hope you'll see the logic behind my observations and gain some greater insight into the larger situation. Please pardon what may be recap to some as I hope to provide enough background for a less informed reader to also enjoy the remainder.

Most of us are no strangers to the age-old class struggle of the material world. Material wealth flows upward through the hierarchy of power and influence to make the wealthy and powerful moreso, with relatively slim chances of large upward movement in material life for people. Many carefully prepared pitfalls seek to ensnare the time and energy of earth residents and use those efforts to a larger purpose of some kind. Few people are really driven enough to overcome all obstacles and make it to anywhere near the top from ground zero. Like gravity, most are pulled down by one issue or another or conglomeration of issues.

Looking objectively, leaders and wielders of power seek to consolidate their power and gain more influence over their peers so as to better secure their holdings and control the future with what they perceive as their correct vision, or even just to hold on desperately to their reality. Whatever means those leaders use to build their empires, everything comes from something, and gains for one are typically losses from another, and with scale comes numbness. In the past, the group would often eventually revolt against poor leadership, given the opportunity - and there has been plenty of poor leadership. More recently, through the illusory selection process of democracy, the group is appeased through ritual, ceremony and collective agreement. The popular figures change but the structure behind the system is near immovable to the ground-level. It takes very big levers to move the machinery of government, and those levers are typically in the shape of money and influence.

Now we as the general people on the outside of the machine are left simply to try our best to work with its movements and not anger it in an unfortunate way, depositing our documents and obtaining our certificates. A person can work their life away to be a light in politics or business here and there, bless their efforts, but they will face stiff opposition from the status quo and may have difficulty enacting any real change. If they do, it will often be token or temporary or a PR stunt of some kind or another, trumpeted while an environmental disaster is swept under the rug or civil rights reduction bill passed. Everything is argued emotionally 10 nonsensical ways to give people vicarious satisfaction and the populace goes to sleep mildly discontented but confused and uncertain.

Social media communication has created a new piece of terrain on the great board and is hotly contested, with paid schills in droves on larger media websites, controlled information release and distribution, various forms of blacklisting and muting... it's a fascinating struggle to behold. Keep your thinking brain screwed on and don't get too carried away!

So in the present time, we have this amazing transition of power occurring between the old empire and a new wave, being carried out on multiple fronts of media and society. Much is hidden, and select information is provided to achieve ends. It's a struggle, it's messy, information is often unclear, false flag attacks appear to be very fair game (false flag = an attack carried out under the flag of another nation; possibly against one's own nation) and there's a lot of polarization across the board in viewpoints. Every new ideological debate is a new line to divide people on, and everything's being chopped up like it's french fry time. Rifts in religions, rifts in cultures, rifts in generations, rifts in genders, rifts in sexuality... everything is inflamed as if it were being blown by a bellows. The objective of this would appear to be to counter the increased unification brought on by the neural-network mimicking internet, which has semi-united much of the world's people in a way not unlike a brain, with abstract connections forming between individuals across great spans, facilitating rapid spread of information and cohesive action. Don't get suckered into anything that turns you against your fellow humans or lifeforms. It's all an invitation into the war, making suffering and waste wherever it appears. One thing is very clear though - the old influence is trying hard to resist the new wave and making a great deal of noise on the way out. There's an incredible nexus of ideas and values wherein the future of human's journey is being decided.

I've been following the situation fairly closely for getting on a decade now and believe I may have some good information to share regarding the current scenario and the lead-up. We'll get into the specifics in my next article on the subject.

TL;DR - Things are in a transition period, class struggle has reached a previously unknown level, leaders consolidate power, divide and conquer reigns supreme on the new battlefield of ideological debate on social forums.

Looking forward to next article. Thanks for peaking my interest.

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you found something to be interested in, in what I wrote :D

Wow, I am sorta glad I read this! I really like how you put things I already probably know into words in a very consise way. I must say that it is a little difficult to read through it all, but the content keeps me reading. Maybe more paragraphs? Idk. Maybe my attention span is too short.

More please! We are seeing history in action!

Thanks Cae :) My wording is probably a bit dense for sure. Trying to keep things compact. I'm trying to include a TL;DR in reddit fashion as in "too long; didn't read"

I look forward to doing some more writing summarizing last year and getting into present forecasting. Should be fun :D

Haha yeah I like that TL;DR thing, its a good summery but everything else you said was so on point! I am excited to hear more!
