WITH SANITY WE CAN BRING BACK THE GARDEN CITY

Bantama Hene Baffour Owusu Amankwaatia (VI) has charged and tasked people in the community especially market women to make the town tidy.

He said, as a War Lord of Otumfour Osei Tutu (ii) and Kontire of the Ashanti Kingdom he cannot sit aloof for Kumasi particularly Bantama to be in a mess.

He stated this at a cleaning up exercise organized by him (Baffour) in the Bantama locality during the weekend.

The thought of the exercise was, “Let’s instill cleanliness to fetch back the floral nature of Bantama”.

Baffour grew disconcert when the team of the exercise arrived at the market scene, he was so displeased with the disgusting nature of the place.

He therefore charged the market women to put a stop to every imbalanced act in the place.

He rreitterated that, “With discipline , sanity we can bring back the garden city".

Finally, he cautioned all individuals boasting themselves with powers to quench given unwarranted permits to people in acquisition of land without his consent.

“Bantama belongs to me and any activity should be under my approval”, he fumed.
