I was thinking to my self what is required to be perceived to be attractive by the opposite sex.

In order for girls to be attractive in the eyes of guys they need to be the following:
1, Be healthy (not fat and having good hygiene and not mentally ill)
2, Not to be fat or anorexic (any of the conditions can be seen without much effort)
3, Have a brain and do not be a dumbass.

Notice these are all personality characteristics of the girls no wealth money has been mentioned.

In order to be perceived to be attractive by girls:
1, Confidence ( Confidence is a result of success and power it is quite hard to fake. A person will not be confident unless they are successful. In order to be successful one has to perform better than the other individuals at certain tasks)
2, Ability to be able to make girls experience a wide range of positive emotions. (security,excitement,arousal)

Notice how I have not mentioned looks as a key variable.

So the bottom line is that girls will find an attractive partner( not just physically) if they are healthy and have common sense. Guys, on the other hand, need to be financially successful in order to be able to provide adequate emotions for women.

I will go into more details later on.
