@Papa-pepper is invested in the steemit community and doesn't mind showing it!

It seems that a lot of people were unaware that these 1500 STEEM "COMMUNITY" Silver rounds were being printed. I meant to do a promo post my self about them, but failed to do so before they sold out. Now, the price of obtaining one is skyrocketing, and a lot of key people in the community completely missed out.

Originally, I pre-ordered only 20, and then I doubled it. For just over $20 each, I was able to pick some up... then. Out of my original 40, I had intended to keep 30 for myself, 5 for each of the @little-peppers, and I had reserved 5 to use in giveaways.

When I recently saw that some people were still selling some of theirs for less than $50 each (I think that price will skyrocket soon) I contacted @raybrockman and purchased 10 of his for 45 SBD each.

Here are the 10 that @raybrockman is sending me, although I may mix up the numbers for the distribution a bit. I already have some in the 700s and 800s, so I may keep a few of these lower ones. These should arrive for me tomorrow.

WHY DID I ORDER 10 MORE?

The reason that I ordered 10 more is simple. I love the steemit community and wanted to help put this limited historical silver round into the hands of more steemians. I am working on obtaining more, but I wanted to offer up these 10 -free of charge- to some community members that I have appreciated in my time here.

While I know that any new minnow would also be extremely excited about getting one of these, I have focused on some community members who have been here for a long time. As you will see from my list, some of these are well known and high profile characters, and I'm sure that this incredible piece of steemit history will be a blessing to them.

You will notice some whales on the list, but this post is in no way a solicitation for votes. You guys should know that is not my style. I am offering these free of charge and without expectation.

10 SILVER ROUNDS FOR 10 STEEMIANS

I am working on getting some more to give away, and still have 5 more to distribute, but these are the first ten that I will be giving away. If your name is on this list and you are interested, just let me know and I'll ship one to you. If you already have obtained one, please let me know and I will distribute it elsewhere.

1 - @dantheman

This one should be obvious. By creating steemit this man ha forever changed my life. However, he is busy and always working on things, so he may have missed that this silver round was even minted. Since there will only ever be 1500 of these ever made, I wanted to make sure that he could get his hands on one if he wanted to. If anyone actually talks to him, please let him know and I'll ship his to him. Even if I do not here back from @dantheman, I will always keep one reserved for him until I do. Thanks for everything man! You have forever changed the world!

2 - @ned

Even after @dantheman "moved on from steemit" @ned has continued to lead the way. With amazing ideas like the SMTs, steemit is sure to continue to be setting the best example out there and paving the way.

3 - @andrarchy

As the Community Liaison for Steemit, @andrarchy has been up to a lot to help our community. I first interacted with him around the time that we made this video.

Since I appreciate what he is, and has been, up to I wanted to make sure that he got one if he wanted it.

4 - @kus-knee

If you don't already follow "the Old Dog," you sure. In some ways, he's a lot like me and is a caring, generous steemian who puts real effort into making steemit all that it can be. Moreover, he's the one who started the Steemit Trading Card initiative, and even chose me for the first one!

Soon I will be able to hold that card in my hand, just like these silver rounds! Anyway, I did not want to forget about @kus-knee if I was giving free STEEM "COMMUNITY" silver rounds away.

5 - @mericanhomestead

Though my wife had watched of few of their YouTube videos, I didn't really know about @mericanhomestead until they joined steemit. Once I realized that they lived close by, we soon met up and had some fun, including making this video together.

We've hung out a few times already, and a lot of the growth in the homesteading community I will personally claim is due to all of the promotion of steemit that @mericanhomestead has done on their YouTube channel. Not sure if they stack Silver or not, but either way, this will be a great round to have!

6 - @pharesim

@pharesim is one of the "original whales" of this community in my opinion. When I first joined steemit, he gave me a lot of encouraging support, and without his upvotes, I can honestly say that I am not sure if I would have stuck around. I had only really lived my life offline prior to steemit, and could have just as easily continued.

Since there is a good chance that @papa-pepper would not be here today without @pharesim's support early on, I wanted to offer up one of these rounds as a small token of my forever gratefulness.

7 - @smooth

@smooth is another one of the "original whales" that I wanted to gift one of these to if I could. Early on in steemit, it was the whales that made things really interesting. I remember all sorts of posts where people would share about when whales were active and things like that, so that people could make their posts at the times, or even in the categories, that whales were most likely to be upvoting. There was a time when they made the difference between a few cents and a few hundred dollars in potential post payout.

@smooth was also one of the key community members who helped changed steemit to be more minnow and dolphin friendly by reducing the influence of whale votes to allow our voting power to mean more. In my entire history on steemit my vote had never been worth more than a cent until @smooth and @abit started their "experiment." At the moment, @smooth is even delegating over 400,000 SP to other members of the community! While I've only interacted with @smooth a few times, I wanted to offer this piece of steemit history up to @smooth for a keepsake.

8 - @xtrodinarypilot

While I knew about this guy for a while, we never interacted too much, until we showed up at his house, on very short notice, twice. Yes, and not only were we allowed to enter, his family graciously allowed us to spend the night twice and even gave us the master bedroom. We even had some great adventures together, like eating hornet larva.

To make matters even better, he sent us some hot sauce on his steemit road trip and his lovely wife, @xtdnrymompreneur, even painted a family portrait of the "Peppers" based off of the design that @rigaronib made for the @little-peppers account.

To say that offering @xtrodinarypilot a silver round is the "least I could" would be horribly inaccurate. I could do a lot less!

9 - @blocktrades

This is another original whale that has been invested in this community for a long time. Without early whales investing in steemit it would have had a much harder time growing. Lately, @blocktrades has taken a special interest in the homesteading community, which has been a huge blessing to many steemians that I know. To see an account like @blocktrades not powering down and delegating over 800,000 SP to other members of the community demonstrates that the support that @blocktrades offers this community has not diminished. 10 - @sirlunchthehost

Yes, name number 10, and unless you are @sirlunchthehost, this name is not your name. Interestingly enough, while typing up this post I just secured 10 more of these extremely limited STEEM "COMMUNITY" Silver rounds from the man with an idea himself, @sevinwilson! That means that even after these 10, I will still have 15 more to give away!

Anyway, back to "Lunchbox." A long time back, @sirlunchthehost found inspiration in @papa-pepper, and we have been interacting for many months here on steemit. Soon, I hear that he is even heading my way, so I thought that having one of these in hand for him would be added incentive! LOL.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I HATE THIS!

Much like choosing "winners" in a contest, of which I run many, this is hard work. If I had an unlimited supply of these, you would all get one! However, these are very limited and they are getting much harder to obtain. They are also rapidly increasing in value. Soon, they may be worth more than BTC... I said may.

Anyway, 10 should show up from @raybrockman tomorrow and 10 more should be shipped to @papa-pepper from @sevinwilson in the very near future. Unless I die first, I will ship out 15 more of these to other steemians in the near future. All 25 of my "giveaway" "COMMUNITY" rounds will be sent free of charge and without shipping and handling charges too!

Stay tuned, as I have a few more names on my list to be included in the next giveaway and I have a few contest ideas too! Though not everyone will ever be able to own one of these, at least more steemians can have their own piece of steemit history because of giveaways like this. STEEM on my steemians!
