Breaking down my first 14 Days of giveaways on Weku

14 Day Update on my Weku Giveaway!!

Why Weku

I joined Weku when many did during the dark week of STEEM - where you couldn't do anything until the RC issues were fixed. After joining, I decided to do something a little bit different over there, after being inspired by @o07 and @contestkings. I am attempting to run daily giveaways of WKD, the equivalent of SBD under the No Upvote-Follow-Reweku required. If you haven't heard of Weku - it looks and acts just like STEEM for the most part, if you want to sign up. Here is my referral link if you want to at least grab and protect your user name. They are changing the signup process bit I think, and now you get a delegation vs signup bonus

Giveaway details

Each one runs for 48 hours
Goal is continual self sustaining giveaways
Only a non spam comment is required. ( I get 1-2 spam comments a day)
I am using random.org to find my winners

First 14 days of posts

I am tracking all my posts and am actually up to day 22 but will start with the first 14 since they have actually payed out.

Details

  • 98 total entries
  • 13 different winners
  • 21 WKD total prize pool
  • Running balance is positive 31.629 WKD

@pansko - you rock. With your support this will run for at least 30 days at this point. The fat upvotes and the liquid 20 WKD support air drop are whats keeping this going! Over 30 WKD for the giveaways I can tie directly to you!!!!

Future Projection

Details

  • Not great - numbers have fallen off the high of 11-13. Only getting 6-7 consistent comments
  • Post values are dropping as well - upvotes are harder to come buy, and my project liquid balance is falling pretty quick. At this point I will most likely go negative right around the 30th day. I will commit to 30 days and keep evaluating.
  • A few repeat winners, @bearbear613 and @silverd510 are cleaning house - but then again being there every day will help.

Thoughts?

What do you think? Do you like the idea, would you participate? I have thought about do something similar on STEEM but feel it might just be too big and crowded already with so many votes only worth fractions of a penny. I can't see a way to build them to be self sustaining. I got an extra 25 votes the other night from posting to a new category... but the payout is the same. The amount of SP to voting power is hard to overcome.

How can I improve them - make them better for those participating.

Stack on!!

I find Weku very difficult to grown on so far. I’ve tried commenting on numerous posts. They don’t even reply most times. I now just vote on the 7-8 people that vote for me.

It has the same feeling as steemit a bit... 75% overlay between who I follow between the platforms, and bearshares is the same too!! No idea why I am trying so hard!

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

Love You Weku <3!!!!

When/if it comes back up, I got the same user name. Look me up and join my daily giveaways of free WKD!
