Global Warming in California SunsteemCreated with Sketch.

I've lived in California all of my life. I am positive that global warming is a real and present danger to our national well being. I've experience many summers in California, but now it is getting worse. The heat is almost intolerable; even a few degrees difference in climate temperature could be catastrophic for the safety and well being of humanity.

The climate is changing. Just look at the number of hurricanes that we are experiencing. Now is the time to take action on climate change, we need to leave a lasting legacy for our future generation.

Baloney, you should reevaluate what ever system you have for being "Positive" about something. I have spent 55 summers in a row in the good ole state of California, and I am "Positive" it gets hot every year in the Month of August. This year in fact is cooler than most, so far. We had a little run of heat at the end of Month and you are ready to set yourself on fire. You need to calm down.
So many Hurricanes, it has been something like 104 months since the last Hurricane.
You are kinda right about one thing. The Earth is warming, has been since the end of the last Ice Age. And we know that this will continue until the beginning of the Next Ice Age. This pattern has repeated over and over since the beginning of the earth and will continue until the end.

Right now the "Normal High" is 93 where I live. What is referred to as "Normal" is really called "The 30 year average". Why not 100 year average or 5 year average.
It's because we know over the long or short term, the climate will fluctuate.
It does not mean that any days above 93 are abnormal.
The Petrified Forest is now a Desert. The Central Valley of California has fossilized Reef's so you yes the Climate does change. Always has, always will.
