2 Ingredient Gluten-Free Banana Pancake Recipe
This morning I made a gluten-free banana pancake that I thought I would share. It only takes two ingredients, is packed with protein and tastes great (if you like bananas).
The two ingredients are:
- One Egg
- One Banana
The Instructions are simple too:
Part one:
- Peel the banana.
- Cut it into pieces and place the pieces into a bowl.
- Smash the banana pieces with a fork or spoon.
- Add the egg.
- Stir until well mixed. There will be bits of banana in the batter unless you choose to blend with mixer or blender.
Part two:
- Spoon the batter onto a hot skillet. I put the heat on medium-low so the pancakes don't burn.
- Flip them over when top begins to bubble and underside is brown.
- They are done when both sides are brown.
Since there is no flour in the recipe, the inside is very moist, so the consistency might not be what you are used to.
This simple recipe made 8 medium-sized banana pancakes.
For variety, I sometimes add chocolate chips or cinnamon.
This recipe mixes up so quickly that you can go from nothing to hot banana pancakes in about 5 minutes. Enjoy!
oh...nice looks yummy.
Thank you!
So how does it taste? Like a banana?
Yes, completely. That is why I usually add chocolate chips or cinnamon -- I think either makes them tastier.
Oh now that is creative!
