Road Test: GMC Terrain (2019)
The GMC Terrain was first showcased at the 2009 New York International Auto Show. Over the years, GMC has let the Terrain evolve for the better, in terms of design, build quality and performance. The new 2019 GMC Terrain accompanies a fresh design and specs.
The 2019 GMC Terrain is available in SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali trim levels that feature increasing creature comforts. Like most crossovers on the market, GMC also offers a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available, which can be activated using a knob. This one also gets a new 9-speed automatic transmission, which goes well with the new engines. However, what it lacks is manual control.
n the outside, the 2019 GMC Terrain accompanies 17-inch aluminium wheels, LED signature lighting, tail lamps with signature lighting and active aero shutters. You also get a hands-free power-programmable lift-gate. When it comes to the interiors, you get an aluminium trim and soft-touch materials on the instrument panel and doors.
