How we achieved our goal

in #goals7 years ago

In 2015, we created our vision board to set goals for the family. On that board, we put several goals that we wanted to accomplish for in the years to come. With the exception of the really big financial goals, many of those goals have already been completed. Our big goals had to do with buying real-estate.

In 2018 the big goals are now in sight. My sister joined a real estate company in the Philippines in 2017 and started sharing some great deals with us. For the last two years, we cleared out debts that has enabled us to save up some cash and continue building assets online.

She first told me about a presale of townhouses in Cebu, Philippines. These townhouses were only $11,000 so I thought "this sounds like a very good deal!" So we were on track to start our ultimate financial goal.

We bought that townhouse in December 2017 and started the payment. It feels great knowing that we are starting to build our main goal!

As of January 2018, my sister told me about another presale oppurtunity! This time, its a condominium connected to a big mall Cebu philippines.

2 years ago was when we met a good friend of ours from youtube who also makes $1500 a month for a condo rental in the Philippines. So me and my husband talked about it and decided to reserve our second real estate investment. We booked it last night and the payment starts next month. Both of these places are only available by about 2021. Sounds far but years pass by fast for us!

For me its perfect because it gives us time to build more assets in order to prepare ourselves financially so that we can buy more in the future. It starts small but will grow much bigger in the future.
