Object and definition of Philosophy. Philosophy of religion /last part/

in #godflesh6 years ago (edited)

Human reason, when used honestly and unprejudicially, and not converted to a religious idol, recognizes its limits and gives place to religious belief. It is enough to objectively understand what is the reason, how limited it is, in order to cease to exist the contradiction between faith and reason. Here is the statement of the great scholar Bl. It is Pascal that only weak intelligence knows its dependence and boundaries until the strong and intuitive intellectual vision sees what its real potential and potential is, and therefore, where limitations often do not reach its strength, the competence of the faith is included. Man needs constant leadership and trust in life in all concrete and vital decisions. Such guidance, however, is not possible to give it the philosophy as a whole, because it has never been completed and its final conclusions are not known. He is unable to see such guidance and no separate philosophical system, because of the eternal contradiction, struggle and mutual denial of philosophical systems. Such a leadership can only give the religion that has supreme human divine origin.

Philosophy at all times in its excellence is only available to philosophical specialists, and the guide to life is necessary for all. That is why, in life, those who have not listened to the Divine Revelation but have listened to some godly earthly authority have worshiped him more than God because the human being is so arranged that his will needs an authoritative unconditional leadership. Religion has not once been used as a support for exploiters. In this respect, it has been abused as well, as it has been abused by science, technique, arts, and so on. But at first there is nothing more disgusting in terms of exploitation, as is the case with Christianity, which subjects everyone to a common law of God, and declares exploiters to be guilty before God's and human laws. On the contrary, godlessness is a true satanic weapon, a complete exploitation, as it takes away man and the last hope that there is something higher than the exploiter. In this way, he makes man an unconditional slave to earthly tyrants and exploders.

If neither of the two extreme notions that philosophy and religion exclude each other can be accepted, then it is necessary to accept the third notion that they complement each other, each acting in its own field. That is what the experience of all philosophers and scholars, both religious and religious, has shown to us. In this third conception,
a further question: which one - philosophy or religion - is more important to a person, which one should be preferred to? The answer can only be one: always in history, on the part of all people, it has given itself a factual preference for faith, of religion to philosophy, and so will it be in the future, because faith is the immediate inner conviction that religion is something deeper, more original and more dear in our spirit and life than any knowledge. Before human philosophy exists, the person with his beliefs and practical experience already exists. Also beyond philosophy, the area of faith begins. Man does not always give a reasonable account of his faith, but nevertheless, it always exists and works. This statement contradicts the fact that there are people who consider themselves godless, that they have no religion, and that they are guided in their lives by reason, by philosophy.

In this way, he makes man an unconditional slave to earthly tyrants and exploders.

Regarding the following paragraph, I would like to say the following: Although it is totally true that man will always look for who directs him, many times and especially in various religions that which you mention "exploitation" is used. Now if we rely on the Bible's own scriptures, we will see that it expresses "free will" in it, that is, God made us free to choose the path, therefore, there should be no human power to govern us, only the God.

The man of his own need will always seek to believe in something, even the so-called Atheists, they will always seek to believe in something. It is the only way to explain the inexplicable, what escapes the reasoning and the unknown, and many times that is called "faith"

Thanks!
