How much does a competitive GU deck cost?

in #godsunchained5 years ago

I'm watching a Rank 28 Slayer Rush player at the moment, and I was curious how much you'd have to invest to get the same deck.

It's not too expensive to end up with a fully competitive deck I think...

Hey, so this seems to be a variant on my slayer war list (my original list here: https://gudecks.com/decks/1339). I'd really recommend replacing 2x incoming raids with 2x deadly arsenal if you have it, as well as getting 2x tartesian improviser in there. Im not 100% certain what improviser would replace, would have to mess around with different amounts of 1 drops to see if the orc procs are still consistent with a lower number of token generators. But both of these cards are core and should make the deck a little cheaper. Chicken is also easily replaceable with another card shark, they are both there for out of its misery, and activating orcs.

great suggestions, thanks for this! :)

that's pretty affordable

yeah, and it's not a long suffer. you either win in 5-8 turns or go on. I think it's very good to grind wins in weekend events :)

Most games I win with Scythes of the Harvest. Power it up with Sharpen or Whetstone and you can do a lot of damage in 1 or 2 turns. Have a lot of other low cost creatures that can apply pressure before you think you can finish it with a powered up Scythes.
