Time to load up

in #gold8 years ago (edited)

Today's blatant attempt to knock the stuffing out of gold and silver prices absolutely reeks of desperation.

The date (some Asian markets being closed), the time (when most markets were closed and hence buyers absent), the manner (huge paper volume dumped in one minute) and quantity (approx $2bn equivalent) of the short selling can only have been central bank intervention, likely coordinated by the BIS.

I also think it's no coincidence that the crypto currencies have been shafted simultaneously.

This looks and smells like an attempt to quash sentiment and spook people away from 'real money' and the enemies of fiat currencies.

The above viewed against the backdrop of simply appalling economic data from the US, bubble territory stock markets and real inflation being multiples of the 'official' figures, is telling me that all is not well with our monetary system.

Reading between the lines, it is my opinion that the end of our current monetary system is getting close and the time to load up on gold, silver and bitcoin is now.

Yes the central bank criminals may well be able to fake confidence in their Ponzi scheme and keep it alive for years to come, i'm not a clairvoyant. But equally you might wake up tomorrow and find it's all gone tits up and the markets are closed. Try getting your hands on precious metals then, when there are no sellers!

Please don't take my opinion as financial advice, but rather do your own research by listening to as many of the economic commentators who post on steemit and you tube and who don't get invited as guests on the MSM!!

I just bought gold and silver. :)

Got some BTC today, ordering silver tomorrow :-)

The big contract dump today is a big sell signal. Its not time to load up dont be fooled. Wait it out a few weeks, its way too early to start buying gold now

You might be right that there is further downside pressure to come, none of us truly know. I'm not trading the PM's for investment. I view my holdings as insurance against the big picture.

Ok well in that case you cant go wrong buying physical. Keep buying more as it goes down you will be a winner in the years to come
