Google offers free Wi-Fi at 400 railway stations in the country

Internet and Technology Company Google said that it has started free public Wi-Fi service at 400 railway stations in the country with the help of Railtel. Google said in an ongoing statement that under the Digital India program, it was started from Mumbai Central Railway Station in January 2016 and Assam's Dibrugarh has become the 400th Railway Station by joining on Thursday.

He said that within the first year of the program, it was launched at 100 busiest railway stations in the country. This is the first time that 15 thousand people are able to avail the internet. Under this free Wi-Fi service, a consumer has to pay no internet charges for the first 30 minutes.
