Ice or the right ice cubes

Today the right choice of ice for cocktails is really important for the taste and the right temperature.
But what are the most common types of ice?

You have to consider carefully which type of ice you need, because for example ice cubes are available in so much
different forms, and think about for what you need which type!
For me full-ice-cubes which are frozen twice are the best, because i need for my cocktails a very low temperature and less melting water.
