Hi I’m Lydie Livolsi, Founder and CEO of MYDENTALWIG, a company that owns the dental AI patent. We are going to embed sensors (chips) inside dental devices, write algorithms, machine learning, AI etc. for continuous data collection and data analyzing, from the entire human body including DNAs, blood, 24/7*, and be able to build a world free of serious diseases such as stroke, cancer, seizures, diabetes etc. Unlike other AI companies that are using AI to analyze 30 years of data, we are using AI to analyze real-time data from today and the future. We are working forward, not backward.

And today I am going to explain a little bit about why I did not accept nor wanted to sell my company to Google. I know, every time I speak about this people say “What! Lydie what happened?”

So last year I received an email, a real email from a guy at Google, who wrote to me, saying how he was “amazed” by what he’d read on my website, Mydentalwig.com, and he went on to say that he wants to have a conversation with me if I did not mind. He introduced himself to me. Basically, his job at Google is to find tech companies in the health industry with very cutting-edge technology so that Google can acquire and buy the company. I accepted his invitation for a Google meet and we did so.

He started by asking me “What is my website about?” to which I responded “What information did you get from reading my website?”. He explained to me what he understood and stated that we have an amazing patent. Dental sensors aka chips embedded within dental devices to collect data from the entire body. I told him “You got it!”. That’s exactly what my website is about. As we continued our conversation, he asked me how did I come up with the idea. I told him that I have over 35 years in the dental manufacturing side. Even though I ran a dental office for some time, my background is really in the manufacturing of dental apparatuses. I can make dental devices like crowns, implants, bridges, orthodontics, dental implants, dentures, and all other types of dental devices. Therefore, I decided to move forward with my career in the removable dental devices because from my experience that is where there is a huge market. Just in the United States alone, there are over 178 million people missing at least one tooth. So, the market size is HUGE. Most of these people do not have other alternatives and as a dental manufacturer I understood really early on that my mission was to bring an affordable solution that is available to almost everybody. I came to the conclusion that in order to do so I must sell my products directly to the consumer. That is how I came out with my patent for a self-dental impression kit, that allows people to take their own impressions. From which I can make all types of dental devices. For those who know about Smile Direct Club, the company is now almost no longer publicly traded, but the point is that they have been using my patented self-dental-impression kit. Same with Byte.com another company that is using my patent to make their clear aligners, while I use my patented dental impression kit to make my own brand of removable dental device that I named the DentalWig. So, all companies using self- dental impressions kit to make any kind of products or services are using my patent.

When Smile Direct Club claimed to be “an industry pioneer, as the first direct-to-consumer MedTech platform for transforming smiles “, they are lying. Today, they are no longer listed as a publicly traded company anymore. Smile Direct Club did not own the self- dental impressions kit nor the clear aligners’ patent owned by Align-Technology (Invisalign).

Reset Smile is using my self – dental impressions kit to make its flexible removable dental devices. The biggest downside with flexible material is that either it is too tight or it is to lose and also is difficult to deliver proper stabilized dental device. Our Dental wig is the combination of the benefits of a rigid material in comparison with metal frame dentures and wings from flexible materials.

Now that I had the DentalWig, I knew that I had something that could help people’s life. My next thought was now that I have this market and have all these happy customers, how could I improve this product and bring more value to people.

I lost my beloved brother from Cancer around this time in my life. I’ve been exposed because of family members and a full and long life to things like strokes, diabetes, seizures, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s. All these things reminded me of something Bill Gates has said after the passing of his father. He expressed how he was shocked that someone like his dad who was a powerful American lawyer, ended up having Alzheimer’s to the point where his own dad could not recognize him. It really highlights how serious some of these diseases are. I wanted to be a part of those companies who come up with really valuable solutions for people. Before I made the DentalWig I knew that I needed my own product, this product being the DentalWig. After I had the product, I knew that I needed my own logo within my products. I thought to myself how I could add our logo on or in the product itself. I came up with a nice solution and it looks beautiful!

After this I came to my most recent idea, which was to embed a tiny chip inside the device, and what better place than to embed them where the logo is. That is where this idea of sensors inside the dental device to collect the data from the body came to me as a continuation of problem solving. My next problem being how will this chip be powered? I knew that human beings swallow about 1200 times per day and when we swallow, we put our teeth from upper and lower jaw together and bite down as we gulp: there is energy here. When we eat, we chew and bite down: there is also energy here. I realized there is Energy and forces that we are not using to their maximum potential.

One has to remember that the gum tissue is the same as the tissue lining your small intestines. There are numerous sublingual medications that dissolve beneath the tongue bypassing the entire digestive system and get directly to the body parts they need to go to be as efficient as possible. All these things where churning in my brain until eventually I came out with the patent.

I met with my patent attorney asking to file it and when I showed it to him, he was nothing short of wowed. I explained to him the nature of the gum tissue when compared with the tissue of the small intestines.

When you look at almost all these medical devices out there, from scanners and MRIs, to stethoscopes used by primary doctors they all collect data from the skin. It is scientifically proven that the skin’s capillaries are not as perfect and accurate for data collection in comparison to data that can be collected from the gum tissue.

Later on, we published a press release about our patented dental sensor technology. Which led a Google representative to contact us, to find out if we are open to sell MYDENTALWIG.

The man from Google said this is what was interesting. Our technology is definitely a cutting-edge and high tech one, and all that the next step is writing the proper algorithms and software to collect real-time data accurately and decide what specific data needed to be collected. All of which can be coded with close to no problems and completely possible. He told me the reason why Google Glasses failed completely was because the data coming from the Google Glasses were not accurate enough because it was discontinued data from the skin. I told him Using AI to enhance our technology will allow us to becoming the leading business in the entire health industry. “Exactly!” He got it

He suggested to me that he would love to move forward with the process of acquiring my company. The same way Michael Bloomberg the current CEO & Co-Founder of Bloomberg Inc said the current CEO of Blackstone Stephen Swartzman, I told him I already told other prospective buyers that I am not sell my company.

I remember back in 1987 when I stepped in to dental school, I knew that one day I would create my own dental school. It was crystal clear to me; I could envision it very well. Fast forward to today, our company has our own dental Ai and the plans for a dentalwig academy that is strongly focused on the STEM pathways. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math are all foundational to everything MYDENTALWIG is setting out to accomplish.

Right now, we are raising capital, looking at 6 to 7 billion dollars to build our tech factory, the manufacturing side, the solar farm, and the entire infrastructure needed for us the serve as many people at the highest level. Because of the vision that I have for my company, the same way Mike Bloomberg, had a clear vision of his company. Even though Blackstone declined his funding request, today, Mike Bloomberg is worth over $100 billion. Steve in his 2019 book “What It Takes”, he expressed his “regret” of not having taken the risk to invest the $100 million Mike was asking for, because Blackstone would have made 8 billion. I did not and I do not want to sell my company, I want to do partnerships with specific companies where there can be a mutual benefit without me needing to sell what is mine.

If I were to sell my company, if ever, it would be for a minimum of 5 trillion dollars. Why? Because my company is going to be a multi trillion-dollar business. We are tapping into the $9 trillion health industry and almost $1 trillion educational industry. As you can see it is not worth it for me to sell my company right now. I’m focused on looking for partners and investors such as JP Morgan, which I believe there is a great benefit for both parties. Same with Blackstone and other firms of this ability. There are many paths that can be taken.

Lastly, I heard that Google was planning on building its own chips now. These are things to consider and keep in mind since we are also planning on building our own chips. Everything under a closed architecture. No need for us to rely on outside sources to provide what we need. Very niche with a huge market, we stand to gain and serve tremendously once we capitalize on this.

We have our B2B plans where we distribute our products to dentist. AI Crowns, AI implants, etc. But the B2C market is where we will dominate by selling our products directly to consumers. I hope it makes sense to you now why I did not want to sell my company to Google.
