Google Doodle wrote on the page, Firoza Begum was a veteran and legendary musician of the subcontinent. He was born on 28 July 1930 in the village of Rhetil Ghanapara of Gopalganj. His father's name is Khan Bahadur Mohammad Ismail and mother's name Begum Kawakunnesa. At the age of 10, Firoza Begum came in contact with Kazi Nazrul and received his training. His first record was published in Nazrul's song in 1949. Firozha Begum took the arrangement to preserve the pure narrative and tune of Nazrul sangat after the supernatural became ill. He participated in more than 380 singles concerts in different countries of the world. Since 1954, he started living in Calcutta. In 1955, he married composer, singer and songwriter Kamal Dasgupta. In 1967, he returned to Dhaka. He died on September 9, 2014. His three children - Tahsin, Hamin and Shafin Hamin Ahmed and Shafin Ahmed are now the brightest stars of our band music.
