And instead of referring to encyclopedias online, the Mountain View firm had the idea to ask the stars cited to answer themselves in video.
For this pilot version of this new feature, Google has only appealed to a dozen personalities. They filmed themselves in selfie mode answering the questions that are most often asked by Internet users.
This new category of search results is called Answered On Google. The video is accompanied by the question at the bottom of the screen and the mention of the verified account of the personality. And when you click on the thumbnail, the video opens in full screen.
For the moment, this function is accessible only in the United States and on mobile. But it gives an idea of ​​what the firm Moutain View intends to deploy in the coming months ... and not just to answer questions about the stars.
