What traits Google is looking for?

  1. Behavior - cognitive and solidity
  2. Role related knowledge
  3. Leadership - enthusiasm, positivity
  4. Googleness - Out of work activities

For hiring Sales manager

  • management of pipeline with courage
  • do know industry they are working in
  • digital knowledge

To be success in sales, preparation is critical piece.

Strategy for different type of people

  • Blue: number first, evidence based thinking → accountant
  • Red: driver want to get things done → CEO
  • Green: relationship oriented → small talk like “How’s your kids?” will be effective
  • Yellow: sunshine gold (friend of everyone) → very talkative and easier than all above types.

Effective way of commutation can be different.

  • auditory: talk
  • visual: draw pictures
  • kinesthetic: learn by doing. ex. how did you doing?

Generation Bias

  • Baby boomers: 50s-mid 60s, they were easy to find job, growth focused

If you are working hard, good thing will happen. (ex. 9 steps to succeed)

  • Gen X: mid 60s-80s, they used to spend time alone since both parents got a job, more independent.

If you can figure it out, good thing will happen

  • Millennial: 18-34 years old, good thing comes quick and there is easy way to make money.
