Christmas is the word alive in you

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate)
and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile)
among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor,
His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives
from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and
truth (John 1:14 AMPC).
H
ow awesome this is! Jesus, the Word, the ancient
of days, became flesh and dwelt among us; that’s
Christmas! I can imagine how awe-stricken the people were
to see Jesus walk the streets in Bible days, full of grace and
truth! The Bible says the disciples beheld His glory; He was
resplendent in honour and majesty. The Word, which was, in
the beginning of the ages now abides, not just with us but also
in us.
The Bible says, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and
shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel,
which being interpreted is, God with us” (Matthew 1:23). He
was born “Emmanuel,” but today, He’s the Word alive in us:
“Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from
generations, but now is made manifest to his saints…which is
Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27). Wow!
Christmas means the abiding Word in you! Now, like
Him, you’re the Word in flesh, because you’re born of the
Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth
forever” (1 Peter 1:23). James 1:18 declares, “Of his own will
begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind
of firstfruits of his creatures.” Blessed be God!!![IMG-20161225-WA0004.jpg]![IMG-20161225-WA0006.jpg]
