Redundancy of Presidency

In an age where we can hold a live conversation across the globe and allow anyone else to become a part of that conversation as well what truly is the point of any government?

We can literally communicate any idea we need to with anyone, anywhere in the world, in an instant.

Why do we elect other individuals to communicate for us when they may not and probably don’t have our best interest at heart?

We can take online polls and use blockchain to verify the votes are correct and we could literally vote on anything in real time.

So why aren’t we?
