What is Grapics card?

imageThe graphics card that we all give special importance to buying a computer is the graphics card. Those who do not take the time to pay attention, they will not be able to play the following games later. Technology is being developed due to day-to-day improvement of new apps or games. To run these, there is no alternative to buying a good quality graphics card. Today I'm tuning the various issues related to the graphics card. Let's get started.

First thing: what is a graphics card?

Graphics card is a device connected to the motherboard that produces video output to watch one or more monitors, and helps in video showing other devices such as capture cards, TVs, home theaters, music systems. Nowadays there is an integrated sound device with a graphics card. As a result, audio output is available as well as video.

How is the graphics card is fitted?

Initially, the graphics card that was installed on the motherboard in 1993 was named PCI or Peripheral Component Interconnect. It worked in parallel mode. Later, Intel built a port named AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) in 1997. It was very slow to say in parallel mode. Many people called the graphics card as an AGP card, which was totally wrong because there were 3 towers in the AGP and now there are 2 grooves on the PCI graphics card. After 2004, the new ported motherboard comes in the market, which is called PCI. PCI-e's full form is PCI-Express. Note that PCIe port is not just graphics card, other sound card, LAN card, WiFi card is also fitted. That's why many motherboards have multiple PCIe slots.

What are the things to look for in a graphics card?

Number of transistors: The more transistors the card will have, the less noise will be, the better the video will be.
Clock Speed: Get it as good as you can and get better performance. Look at this.
Memory: It's discussed before. Now cards are available from 1 GB to 4 GB. See what your work type looks like.
Memory type: DDR, DDR2, GDDR3, GDDR4, or GDDR5. The better, the better you will get performance. Of course, the price of GDDR5 is a little higher.
