#gratefulvibes - ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE - COMMUNITY CHALLENGE - 16 AUG 20

Today I’m grateful for our family and friends, two and four-legged. :D I’m grateful that we’ve got spots to sit and watch the battles for the hummingbird feeders, they are beautiful birds to watch, even if it’s only for a few moments at a time, especially when one of them has laid claim to the feeder we’re sitting near. :D They are very territorial when they want to be and when they dive after another hummingbird it’s like a helicopter flying over your head, volume-wise. :D I’m grateful that we had a pretty relaxed day on the homesteading today, just a bit of bird watching and puppy/grand-puppy play time…well except for that bit of excitement when our bull Leroy decided to rip apart a section of our fence line this afternoon and got himself banished into the main pasture for the rest of the day; he was lucky that Princess wanted to keep him company or he’d have been in there all by himself, which probably wouldn’t have bothered him at all. :D Just like humans, our cows don’t mind a bit of “me time”, on occasion. :D I’m grateful the yummy macaroni casserole we enjoyed for our supper tonight. :D I’m grateful for these and for all the other blessings in our lives. :D I’m grateful a bunch of canaries have found our new bird feeder in the front yard. :D Most of all, I’m grateful to God for blessing us with another day to share. :D
