So-called "decentralized" social media are hooping and hollering over fugazi. Their breakthrough is Steems rear view mirror!

What has steem done for you?

Have you met some awesome people who have changed your life?

Have you earned some rewards on a post, and maybe bought something useful/cool with the money? (photos please!)

Has Steem been useful as a foundation for you to build an online profile that can never be taken from you?

I want to take these real-life testimonies and blast them all over the internet!
Make a post and use the hashtag #GratitudeChallenge and tag three friends to participate!

I tag @acidyo @guiltyparties @exyle

I will be giving out upvotes all next week for people sharing their Steem Testimony!

For me, I'm grateful that Steem has offered a home free of censorship. Steems technology allows me to send value across the world, for free, in three seconds, without permission. I have earned more money on Steem then any other social platform, by a mile. Steem has changed the way I see potential in everything I do. It has allowed me to help build projects like https://3speak.online/, and the community is nothing short of amazing! Most of all, I'm grateful Steem has given me and the world opportunity. It's up to us how we use our newly found powers!

Here is my entry :

I explained in the video how steem works, what are the applications built on steem, how many interesting communities we have, I talked about our traffic, about cool steemians I met, and I a lot of things I baught like my quality phone and about what I earned from steem. I'm really grateful for being on steem more than 2 years. ☺

I could probably put together a series of original posts covering the things STEEM has done for me. One I have top of mind is being able to follow the adventure of someone across the globe and contribute directly to their cause with the use of vested/liquid STEEM.

Just one of dozens of things steem has given me.

Back in late 2016, I joined Steem after watching a vid from @highimpactflix. I was enamored by the potential of a social media blockchain.

I later learned it wasn't all 🌞 and 🌈 s and I later found my purpose striving against the corrupt. SFR was and is my incubator and through it I have matured.

Bear in my this was after my time in service in the Corps which also served to build my character but not so smooth around the edges. I'm still a bit jagged at times but I am becoming more adept at my expression within the realm of social media.

Now, I suspect the SFR and and Steem may be but a stop on my journey but I will never forget the community and what we have accomplished together.✌️

I'm not saying I'm done but my morale is low so I may just take a break. I probably need it.

Maybe, I'll work on my subs on @dtube. I'm a big fan of free speech advocacy as an up and coming conservative testing my limits in social media.

But I don't think I had enough subs to meet the stringent requirements of @threespeak but am assured it was nothing personal.

I will write this post up this week. I can go on and on about it.

Should be interesting...I am glad you are doing this.

Steem is already changing lives and will impact millions more. In time, this is going to be one of the greatest endeavors we have seen. The commitment of the developers along with the community at large is incredible.

We are going to see enormous shifts in the world because of Steem.

steemit is a wonderful platform, it is really the only one that I use and that pays me for creating content. I hope Steemit will continue to strengthen and we can generate more income than the current ones.

I've lot of things steem has done for in time past even in present. I didn't share most of them here.
