The story of my life.

Hello steemiters,

Today i decided to share a big part of my life with you. It's something i always wanted to do, to write about my story. I kinda feel ready and really, really excited to "telltale" my story :D . Iam sorry about my english. I am trying my best. I will get better :D

It was seven in the afternoon when my beautiful mother brought me into this world. In a world so huge, full of experience, difficult and easy, loving and something, a world unexplored. But life has decided to add another difficulty to my life.

When I was born, the doctors and my mother saw something different on me. They noticed that a "special" baby came to this world. A baby without ears. From that moment on, my mother understood that we had to give a great fight. The doctors immediately took me from my mother's arms and started the endless examinations. They tried to understand why this happened, but for those years it was something new for them. The first conclusion was that I am a baby without hearing. That I will never have the opportunity to hear the mother's voice. I will not have the opportunity to hear the nature, air, music but one Absolutely Nothing.

After a few days my mother finally had the opportunity to get me again into her arms, looking at me while I was sleeping in her safe and warm hug. My grandmother was sitting next to us. Then my grandmother rubbed the sheets of the bed with the hands. That's because she did not have her ribbon to occupy her hands. Suddenly my grandmother noticed something. Αfter a while she said to my mother "the child can hear". My mother was staring at my grandmother and started asking questing why is that? but how?. While my grandmother rubbed the sheets of the bed i heard its inchy sound and and it made me shudder. Then my mother started talking at me a little louder and i was reacting to her callings,to her beautiful voice.

My mother instatly called our family and they where all happy. The doctors came in and they were speechless. Nobody could explain why i could hear. it was something unbelieveable. The doctors couldn't explain it.They just call it a miracle.

A child's childhood with no ears it wasn't something that other kids were able to understand or even accept. I was bullyed by a lot of people. Nobody wanted to talk me because i was different. Nobody wanted me to play with their child because of my ears. As a result i became a child with self issues. I didn't like myself at all. I didn't want to talk to anyone but my family. I remember having the t.v volume at 100% while my family was trying to rest or sleep but they never complained about it.//* Image yourself trying to get some sleep and someone at the next room volume up his tv so loud. It's really annoying xD*// I strongly remember one memory that it made feel like "why i even exist in this world? why it happened to me ?" A kid told me that i shouldn't get out of my home again because iam not like him,iam not like anybody else, i dont have ears. It made me feel like iam losing my whole world around me. it literally destroyed my heart. I was crying at the playground, alone, for hours. Suddenly a girl came close to me and she told me "Please dont cry, nobody deserves to cry.. you are not different, your ears are gonna be your power, your ears are gonna make you special in this world." She became my light in my absolute darkness. She gave me the leap of faith .  After that my whole life changed. She and i were studying together, play together, she even told the other kids to let me play football with them. She was my guardian.

Then, when I turned 12 years old my family deciced that it was time to find a solution at my problem. We went to a doctor after doctor but with no solution. Every doctor's conclusion was that i couldnt get my full hearing. My family were really dissapointed and depressed. Suddenly one afternoon the phone rang. It was a doctor ,who heard about my situation and he told us that he has a solution. This doctor changed my whole life.He made the impossible, possible. He was the one who gave me a chance to hear like a normal person,to hear music loud and clear,to hear the car's engine,to hear the air, everything..!!!

At the age of 12 I did two surgeries. I spent a whole year at the hospital with moments full of pain. I did a cochlear implant on my right ear and with the help of a Sound Processor i could hear for the first time of my life . I remember myself when i first plugged it and turned it on. I was like "oh my god... i can hear everything..this is how it feels like to hear.." i was smiling all day. i was so so happy. i was asking my mother what is that sound ? We went like that all week until i learn all the new sounds and hearings. It was just amazing..!!

I told my mother that we won. We beat life. Nothing is impossible as long as you accomplish it with your family and the loved ones next to you. This doctor changed my life. I still dont know how to repay him about that. I dont think i will able to.

Today, this "problem" made who i am today.  It made me understand things that other children at my age couldn't. It made understand the truth meaning of life. Love. Family. Health. What is really important and what is not. It made realise a lot of things. Now this "problem" is not a problem anymore. Is a part of myself and my Pride. It' s my WHOLE LIFE.

Never .. ever let others tell you who you are or what you are. Dont let them. You are the one to decice it. Show them who you really are. Never lose faith and hope. Life is full of surprises. Live every moment of your life. Dont leave things for tomorrow because maybe tomorrow will never come. Love  without expecting anything back . Try at least.

Love yourself. It is important to stay positive because beauty comes from the inside out.

"Mother thank you for everything you done for me and you still do for me. I love you with all my heart."
