1) PiGridResearch Upgrade
A long awaited software release is available for PiGrid.

Their box is supplied with feature updates in collaboration with pigrid.com to make scientific volunteer computing easy to join. Tutorials about the box are being written right now.

3) Only 22 Supercomputers ahead of Gridcoin
If one calculates the computing power of the shared performance of all Gridcoin nodes, the global network would operate at 23rd place on the list of world's strongest supercomputers. That is, Gridcoin team achieves an equivalent of 7.68 PetaFLOPS. This metric is based on latest calculations of @parejan and compared to leading supercomputers according to the perfomance listed on top500.org.

4) Gridcoin 4.0.1 mitigates forking potential
Last Friday, Gridcoin version upgrade 4.0.1 was released. This version contains solutions for forking issues and a minor fix for vote crashes. Official downloads are available from gridcoin.us.

5) World Community Grid's Anniversary (IBM)
@Vortac put together a reminder of World Community Grid's (WCG) anniversary! WCG is a project within BOINC maintained by IBM and devoted to medical calculations. It is whitelisted in Gridcoin and hosts a plethora of subprojects like "Smash Childhood Cancer" and "Computing for Clean Water". WorldCommunityGrid.org states, once you become a volunteer, "you donate your device’s spare computing power to help scientists solve the world’s biggest problems in health and sustainability".

6) Online Marketing started
@Vortac has created new campaigns on Google ads starting this week. He wants to incorporate learnings from previous campaigns to foster the impact.
