The only downside that I see is that we do not know the exact block height the update will happen. This is concern for exchanges and speculative stakeholders. This problem is not insolvable, thou. We can just make a promise on the time we will will execute the update. After all, it has been accepted, by not one, but 4 blockchain polls.

I would say this is a strength. This allows us to delay the switch until we see that all exchanges are offline.
