me: Ваш проект генерирует достаточно, чтобы иметь постоянный запас рабочих единиц? Как долго длится ваш проект?
Progger: Hello. This project is very young, it started on May 19. But the problem to be solved appeared long ago - first solutions found in 1992 (https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/forum_thread.php?id=2&postid=12#12).
At the moment there are not enough tasks for everyone. I have some thinks how fix it in nearly future.
me: Кроме того, если вы говорите по-английски, мы проводим интервью с администраторами BOINC. Слушайте прошлые интервью здесь: https://soundcloud.com/gridcoin-community-hangouts/sets/interviews
Progger: I can read and write in English, but not speak - too little experience for this :(
Thanks for the link, it's interesting.
it's kind of odd that we have to contact the project admin. to what? get their permission to crunch the project? considering the now had 2 sites to handle the workload, i figured the problem of "not enough workunits" had been remedied. :)
some of the letter is omitted, but i'm pretty sure i said something akin to "we're thinking of adding your project to the Gridcoin whitelist." - as one would be expected to do in this situation.
Let them know that we are working to fix the process, including asking permission before white-listing a project:
