JuicyFields was launched as a crowdgrowing platform that connects investors directly to the medical cannabis farming business for lucrative returns and at the time of our launch, we were the only platform that offered users direct participation in the massively growing medical cannabis sector, this is a sector that was worth about $17.76 billion and is projected to hit $90 billion by 2031, that’s a projection of CAGR of 22.5% within this period, it is very easy to see why we chose to build and develop in this sector because of the massive growth potential and because unlike so many other sectors, it has not been monopolized by big corporations yet, making the barrier of entry to smaller operations that much more difficult.

JuicyFields faced some problems in 2022 and we know that this has impacted investor trust in the platform but we want to assure our loyal community that we suffered an exploit and we had to give the authorities time and space to investigate the issue properly without us or our community muddling the waters with misinformation or risk tipping the infiltrators off on the current progress of the investigation and recovery effort, because we knew for a fact that if it was announced, our community would have wanted regular updates and this would have severely impacted the investigations as a very big strategy in the investigation is that we wanted the exploiters to relax thinking we are doing nothing and they would likely make mistakes and leave a digital trail that would lead directly to them when they try converting the stolen funds to fiat.

RECOVERY

It is with great joy that we announce that we have worked extensively with law enforcement and Binance and this has lead to the recovery of a fraction of the funds that was stolen by the exploiters when they tried to convert the funds through Binance Exchange, we notified Binance of this when our in-house analysts traced some of the funds to the exchange and Binance was able to freeze the funds and return it back to us, however this has made the exploiters more cautious and for months, they have not tried to move the remaining funds. We have been able to recover approximately 94% of the stolen funds.

JuicyFields - THE NEXT CHAPTER

If there is one thing that has never changed, it is our commitment to connect investors to the massively growing medical cannabis industry and despite the challenges of the past, we have decided to come back better and stronger because what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. If there is one thing that history has taught us, it is that big corporations tend to face seemingly insurmountable problems at one time or another during their growth but those that have overcome these issues have gone ahead to become giants in their respective fields.

We have decided to take stance directly from the playbook of the heroes before us and fight for what we believe, we would be relaunching the JuicyField platform because we wholeheartedly believe in the viability of this industry because we have tested it in the past and know the kind of opportunity it presents for our e-Growers and we the management of the platform. All e-growers affected by the exploit would be compensated each time they make a new investment, for sustainability of the refund program, we have designed a system that would enable us dispense the refund amount to affected members in a balanced manner, each time you make a new investment in JuicyFields, you would get your 5% ROI + extra 5% from your old balance, this means that for old members that were affected by the exploit, they would be getting 10% each time their investment matures until their old balances is fully paid out.
