Guitar Chord Progressions - Music Theory Lesson

in #guitar3 years ago

-Order: Blue, Yellow, Red, Blue (Tonic, Predominant, Dominant)
-Can pick multiple chords from one color
-Every other letter name leads to a swappable chord
-Small voicings of chords and jazz chords to make it more playable than triads
-ii and iv happen to be the same chord in this case
-You don't have to follow these "rules"
-When playing with other musicians, it only matters that you are on the same color as other musicians (you don't have to play the exact same chord as them).
-There are more of these for different scales
-Enjoy!
