How to Filter Spam and Pesky Calls on Android Smartphones #GURUJI LUCKNOW WALE
Raise your hands If you are in the middle of something important or just hanging with friends and have a troubled call on your smartphone. We are all there and it can be very annoying. Google has come up with a feature in your phone app that will at least warn you about the annoying call. So here are some steps you need to follow to trigger this option on your Android smartphone:
Step 1: Open the default phone app on your smartphone
Step 2: Tap Toggle to Three Dots on the Right
Step 3: Click More
Step 4: You have to click the Settings option
Step 5: Now, here you will see caller ID and spam options. Turn it on / off based on active settings on your phone.
It is important to know that the caller ID and spam options are by default. Just if it's off, just turn it on.
Another option is available on the Phone app to mark some calls as spam. To do this, you must follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the phone app on your phone
Step 2: Go to the recent call
Step 3: Select a call from the list that you want to mark as spam
Step 4: After that, tap Block / Report spam option
Step 5: The app will inspire you to check if you want to block the number
Step 6: If you get the option, you can also choose to report report as spam
Step 7: If that option is not available, you can choose to block only those special numbers that are making those troubled calls.
Note: You'll need a smartphone running Android 6.0 or above.
While the calls can not stop, at least they will not bother you at all.
