Daniel - BoyChild

Daniel smiled as I gave him the school bag, he didn't speak much, but I could feel his warmth and appreciation through those smiles of his!
Being in primary 2, one thing I noticed is how weak his educational background is and we think it wise to get an external tutor to help him out. A boy of his age and class should know better than what I accessed Daniel on; like asking him to say his full name, his age and date of birth, how many siblings (sisters and brothers) he’s got, where he lives and several basic questions like that was what he couldn’t answer correctly because he doesn’t know them.

I met Daniel on Friday again and despite the everything he goes through, he is still a very much ‘happy child’. Well you’ll agree with me that children are generally like that but this one is exceptional. He sees and understands the opportunity we are trying to create for him to be a better person with the way he runs towards me whenever he sees me and prefers going home to do the little he can to help than play on the school field like his other siblings.

Seeing the bad condition of where he stays is disheartening as its located on a pathway for flood that runs into a nearby canal.

Thank you all for the support and help so far! Daniel has gotten a bag, his school fees has been sorted out. He needs more support now more than ever. Other basic things he needs are : Tutorship fee for special classes, Socks, sandals, clothes... e.t.c.
