Today I am about to share information about HENNA APPLICATION and how its advantage and disadvantage of henna. And also i ll share HOW TO APPLY ON HEAD.
HENNA APPLICATION
Henna is a small herbal plant. It has all the herbal healing properties. Henna was first used by the ancient Egyptian (Egyptian is one of the oldest civilization of the world). It is said that the Queen of Egypt cleopatra was the first to discover it and use it. It gives out a strong color which is red, and is used for coloring and conditioning the hair. Henna is known as a herbal dye. The color stays for 15-20 days. That is why henna is also known as a semi permanent dye.
ADVANTAGES:
It has no chemical reaction.
It is a conditioner, which gives natural shine to the hair.
It improves the health of the hair, scalp is also promotes hair growth.
It is very good for split end and dry hair.
It is good treatment for high blood pressure and headaches.
It can also be used for treatment of the dandruff.
It can be used as conditioner for reddish tone and for coloring the hair.
DISADVANTAGES:
It gives red color which is quite visible. Too much use henna turn's hair dry.
Don't use much of henna because its over laps cuticles and closes the pores and hair cannot breathe. As a result the scalp becomes oily and hair becomes dry.
Therefore always after application of henna do deep conditioning. The hair will always remain healthy and will always shine.
APPLICATION OF HENNA ON HEAD:
Apply henna with the help of brush. Color clockwise from the center in the circular motion. In this way the hair does not tangle. The head henna looks neat and the hair can be washed easily.
After completing the whole head put cotton of the hair line and put shower cap.
THINGS REQUIRED FOR HENNA
Comb.
Henna brush.
Plastic or glass bowl.
Cotton.
Shower cap.
Tail Comb.
HENNA AS CONDITIONER INGREDIENTS:
One cup henna powder.
Half cup amla powder.
One tablespoon methi - dana (fenugreek) powder.
1 teaspoon coffee powder.
Tea leaves water to form a paste.
Half lemon (if the hair is dry)
1 full lemon (if the hair is oily)
1 egg whole (if the hair is dry)
1 egg white (if the hair is oily)
1 teaspoon oil (if the hair is dry)
Half cup curd (if the hair is dry and falling hair)
METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients one hour before applying henna in a plastic or a glass bowl except lemon and egg. Egg and lemon is added at the time of application only.
HENNA FOR DULL HAIR INGREDIENTS:
1 cup henna powder.
1 cup curd.
2 tablespoon methi powder
plain water
METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients with raw milk or rose water. Apply on the hair wait for 30 to 40 and than give light shampoo. Rinse out with lukewarm water. This brings back the shine and luster in hair.
HENNA FOR FALLING HAIR INGREDIENTS:
1 cup henna powder
1 cup curd
2 tablespoon methi powder
Plain water
METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients and apply on the head. Wait for 30 to 40 mints rinse out with lukewarm water.
HENNA COVERING GREY HAIR INGREDIENTS:
Half cup Amla powder
1 cup henna powder
1 teaspoon coffee powder
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon katha powder (bark of the tree)
Tea leaves water
METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients, apply on the head. Leave it for 2 hours. Rinse it with lukewarm water.
