Halloween Costumes! Wild Raccoon and Animal Control Officer

I love Halloween! It's always been my favorite holiday. This year I went as my favorite animal, the Raccoon. My partner dressed as an animal control officer. Pretty clever couples costume yes?

I would normally spend weeks making our costumes, but unfortunately I think those days are behind me. Carpel tunnel and chronic upper back pain have severely limited my ability and desire to sew. However, I still had a lot of fun putting together this costume idea. I bought my raccoon onesie at a department store, and my partner's costume was assembled from clothing and accessories we already had. I printed the animal control badges, laminated them, and pinned them to the shirt.

After spending a little time on Pintrest, I came up with raccoon inspired hair, and makeup ^_^

This is honestly one of the most comfortable things I've ever worn. It's like being wrapped in a microfiber blanket, and its soooo warm! It snowed here in Minnesota, a couple days before we went out, and I didn't even bother to bring a jacket! This will make fantastic pajamas for this winter.
