Can you mine Halo?
No, we have eliminated Proof of Work from the system. The blockchain mints Halo every 4 minutes and distributes it to the masternodes every 8 to 24 hours.

Featherlite/Masternode FAQ
Q: Why can’t I get Featherlite to sync and see all functions available?
A: First, make sure you are up to date using our latest version of the wallet. It’s available for download on our website here. If you haven’t synced in a while, it can take several minutes. You should see the block numbers counting up on the bottom right corner of Featherlite.
Q: Will I lose all my tokens if I haven’t claimed them from ICO?
A: No. sign into your ICO account here and follow the on-screen instructions to set up Featherlite and import your HALO.
Q: Which version of Featherlite should I use - Lite or Full Node?
A: If you are self hosting a masternode, it is recommended to use the Full Node version. For any other use, the Lite version is acceptable.
Q: How do I back-up my private key?
A: Within the Featherlite wallet, navigate to Account Control. Each account will have an option to export the private key by clicking the three dots (to the right of the padlock).
Q: Why can’t I send Halo?
A: Make sure your account is unlocked. Having a locked account will keep you from accessing many functions in Featherlite. Wallets can be unlocked within Settings. In addition, ensure the padlock is not locked on the Wallet page in Featherlite.
Q: How do I set up my masternode?

Q: Why am I not seeing my masternodes on the Monitor page?
A: Make sure you are fully synced with the blockchain. This can take several minutes. Compare the current block in Featherlite (bottom right) to the Halo blockchain.
Q: Do I need to leave my computer and Featherlite running to run my masternode?
A: If the Halo Platform is hosting your node then no. Halo servers which are hosting your node are always keeping your node running.
A: If you are self hosting then yes, you should.
Q: The blockchain is synced so why can’t I see my master nodes on the Monitor page?
A: The masternode status must say deposited. If not, check to make sure the funding address is set to be your Halo prime account.
Q: The blockchain seems to be synced but all my data is wrong. Account balance, nodes, etc.
A: Make sure the network you’re connected to is the Mainnet. On the splash screen click the 3 dots and select mainnet before starting full or lite.
Q: Why am I getting an error notification?
A: Could be a number of reasons. Anytime you get a red error you must restart featherlite. If the problem persists, contact support.
Q: Why do I not see any pending contracts or pending orders?
A: Make sure you’re synced with the blockchain. This page will not populate until the blockchain has fully synced. It is also possible that there aren’t any in the marketplace at any given time.
Q: Will I lose my masternode rewards if I don’t withdraw them for any length of time?
A: No. Rewards will just keep adding up until you withdraw.
Q: If I run into issues, what are some things I can try to fix the issue?
A: There are a few simple things to check to make sure things are set up correctly:
Make sure you have the latest version of Featherlite installed. Click the About tab to see your version and compare it to the one on our downloads page.
Make sure your Halo wallet is unlocked - Check that the lock icon is open under the Settings screen.
If you aren’t seeing your masternodes, make sure your Halo Prime account is the same one you used to fund the masternode - Check for a blue star next to that wallet under the Settings screen.
Check to make sure there is a block count on the bottom right corner of the screen. If not, refresh Featherlite.
Check to make sure you are connected to main net on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Check to make sure you haven’t been logged out automatically. You can change the duration before you are logged out in the Settings screen.
The vast majority of issues are client sync problems. When in doubt, refreshing Featherlite and waiting a few minutes can solve many of the issues.
