You're talking about deluded fantasies and wishing for the endless possibilities of 'what if...', which I agree can be VERY detrimental to your mental health and will prevent you from being 'in the moment'. But healthy fantasy should not be discounted because there is a way to daydream positively. It's like a meditation and it activates the right side, or creative side, of your brain as opposed to the left side, the regimented side, of your brain. I also agree, prayer & meditation is huge, and helpful to center yourself on the things that you really do appreciate in your life. Great post & video Jerry. All the best.
