Thunderstorm in Kuala Lumpur. Happy365steem.
I was sitting in a cafe today taking my time over my drink when I saw the storm clouds gathering over the roofs of the buildings in front.
In a second I gulped down the rest of my drink and started hurrying home. You don’t want to be caught out in a storm here and I didn’t want to be trapped in that cafe all evening waiting for the rain to stop.
Happily I reached home before the heavens opened. I hurried to my favourite chair. The breeze was already stronger and was blowing through the windows. What a lovely relief from the hot humid weather.
I love storm-watching and from our apartment I have the best view of the dramatic show.
Seeing nature at it’s most powerful and dramatic makes me feel happy to be alive.
