Bitcoin’s Hashrate Again Hits An All Time High. Awesome news for Bitcoin Users

in #hashrate7 years ago

Today we received a new great news in the crypto world that bitcoin hashrate has again hit a new all time high with an increase of 15% from the last two weeks. This recent jump is not surprising news to bitcoin users as bitcoin has seen its hashrate rising over the past few months.

This has mainly been possible due to the rising interest in mining digital token despite Bitcoin trading lower day by day. Due to the increased competition between miners which have created improved mining networking and increasing efficiencies.

Many are predicting that this increasing in the hashrate will  help the bitcoin start another bull period (same can be seen in today price again in not only bitcoin but all the Alt coins also). As  hashrate meaning how many number to tries one can take to solve the bitcoin computational puzzles. Mining cost will increase as electricity cost will increase  substantially which will not help the miner break-up even in mining.

Sucks for me as a miner tho ;(

Yup. But usually the bitcoin prices rise as the hashrate increases. So can be good overall

Hash rate doesn't affect coin price... Coin price is determined by supply and demand, that is economics 101.

Hash rate IS affected by coin price (in the long run) as Satoshi designed POW mining to be a NEAR ZERO SUM GAME

Hashrate on what time scale?

its in GH/s

Hashrate can only be measured over a time period, for example 24 hours average, 7 day average. We cannot know the exact hashrate at any given moment due to the phenomenon known as variance, so any such measurement has to come with a time period attached.

Also today the total network hashrate would be correctly measured in EH/s not GH/s.

que emocion ya que de el dependen todas las demas crypto

more "good news" with no positive effect on the crypto market prices...it's not good news unless it move the price up. I don't care how high the hash rate is...
