India's poet Nazrul's De Lit Degree Hasina

The honorary degree was given to Sheikh Hasina at the special convocation of University of Asansol, West Bengal on Saturday.

Explaining the reasons for this degree, Vice Chancellor of University of India, Professor Sadan Chakraborty, said that Sheikh Hasina has been honored to play an extraordinary role in the development of the common people through the formation of an exploitation-free, discriminatory society and democracy, empowerment of women, poverty alleviation and socio-economic development.

On the birth anniversary of the National Poet of Bangladesh, the Degree of Degree is given to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from the University of India established in his name.

In the speech, Sheikh Hasina thanked the authorities of Nazrul University and announced this honor to her as 'sacrifice to the entire nation'.

"This honor is not only me, this honor is of the people of Bangladesh."

Sheikh Hasina said, "Today's day for me is more significant because of the birth of the poet, I was able to come to his native place and from the university established by his name, I was awarded the Honorary Doctor of Literature (DeLit) degree."
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, Culture Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, Prime Minister's Advisers HT Imam, Gowher Rizvi, Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury were present on the occasion of Special Convocation and De-Leit. West Bengal State Education Minister Partha Chattopadhyay was also present at the function.

On the occasion, Sheikh Hasina said, "Poet Nazrul, who always wakes up in our consciousness, because of the rise of new Bengali people in our Bengali literature, like the comet, the arrival of the rebel Kabir and the Bengali literature he filled with gold crops.

"Not only was he a poet, he was a novelist, songwriter, musician, singer, music director, playwright, dramatist, journalist, editor and soldier. Where was he roaming? Poet Nazrul was a wonderful talent. "

He said that it was the rare talent of Kabi Nazrul who came to the people of Hindu religion by writing Hamid-Nattar, Islam religion and Shyama music, Kirtan Vaishnava.

The Prime Minister said, "Bangla can be divided, but Nazrul-Rabindranath is not divided. All of the two Bengalis. "
Quoting Annada Shankar Roy's poems, he said, "The mistake has been made / everything is divided / it is not co-Nazrul."

"Really Nazrul is not divided," Hasina said.

He also told the liberation war and Awami League's 'Joy Bangla' slogan from Nazrul's poem.

Referring to Bangabandhu's inspiration with Nazrul's introduction and Nazrul's literature at the young age of Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina said, "One was a poet of literature, and the other was a poet of politics."

He also described the dream of building non-communal and exploitation-deprived society.

"The poet Nazrul was a non-communal person. With that consciousness we are building Bangladesh. "

Sheikh Hasina urged the students present in the convocation to hold non-communal consciousness.

In the morning, Sheikh Hasina reached Kazi Nazrul Airport at Durgapur in the morning. From there, on arrival at Kazan Nazrul University of Asansol on noon, he was welcomed by Vice Chancellor, Chancellor Upon Chakrabarty. Then started special convocation and de-lit ceremony.
Sheikh Hasina is returning from Asansol to Calcutta after returning to the Netaji Museum and on Saturday night after a courtesy meeting with the local MPs.

The prime minister reached India on a two-day tour on Friday to inaugurate the convocation of Visva-Bharati University and to join the special convocation of the Kazi Nazrul University.

On Friday morning, from Dhaka to Kolkata, the helicopter went to Santiniketan. There, in the convocation of the Prime Minister of India and unveiling the plaque of Bangladesh Building in Santiniketan.

Then he also held a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister.

In the afternoon, after visiting Rabindranath Tagore's birthplace Jorasanko's Thakurbari, Sheikh Hasina, in the afternoon, met with Kolkata business leaders in Taj Bengal, and took part in the night dinner hosted by the governor of West Bengal.
