HPB - Blockchain Offload Engine
High-performance blockchain (HPB), is an easy to use blockchain that comes with a very high performance. This blockchain was designed to improve the performance of decentralized applications (DAPPs) or distributed applications and to make sure they are efficient enough to meet the real world standard and business need. The high-performance blockchain architecture consists of the software and the hardware.
The software consists of the account, identity, authorization management, policy management, databases, and asynchronous communication of numerous CPUs in their thousands also with FPGAs or clustered program schedule.
For the hardware part of the architecture, HPB came up with an idea of creating a new technological innovation aim at improving the blockchain transaction on the hardware level. The Blockchain Offload Engine (BOE) is a system with a heterogeneous processing capability, the BOE includes a hardware, a firmware, and a software integrated into it. This BOE combines both the CPU serial capabilities and FPGA parallel capabilities in order to attain a high-performance blockchain and also a high concurrency computing acceleration
To connect other devices in a Peer to Peer network to the BOE, a Gb/Gb Ethernet interface is required. Its module aids in the implementation of the TCP and UDP packet resolutions, it also establishes an encrypted communication channel with other nodes, it performs integrity checks, signature verifications and also an account balance check on the incoming transactions, blocks, and messages in a network.
The BOE is also responsible for fragment processing on excessive block data to be sent out of the network by encapsulating each fragment making sure the data will not be tampered with. The BOE was designed to enable users to contribute to the system and aid in maintaining the network.
If you think the BOE is a scam, then you are wrong because sometimes ago, the BOE was released in a conference alongside with the node application where users where tested to ensure that they had the minimum system requirement needed to run the BOE.
Recently, a hardware distribution quality control was performed on a packaged BOE ready for shipment, to ensure that the BOE gets to each successful node applicants in good standards.
The first test carried out was the vibration test, where the packaged/boxed BOE was dropped on two separate vibrating machines for some minutes. You can find the video here

The second test carried out was the Drop test, in this quality control test, the packaged or boxed BOE was seen being dropped from a specific height to the floor. Watch the video with this link

After this test has been performed the BOE will be shipped to each successful node applicants and they can fully take part in contributing to the network.
To top up this article, I want to formally tell you that HPB on the 25th of August 26, 2018, launched the Closed MainNet to carry out series of test to make sure the blockchain meet various standards and also the Open MainNet launch has been moved to the 28th September 2018.
