**HEALTHY TIPS TO LIVE LONGER, STRONGER AND YOUNGER**

I know it is never the prayer of any one to die prematurely but I know if the needful is done, by putting in efforts to live healthy, our days on earth will be longer and smother.
Have you ever thought of why the older generation lived longer and are still living longer than their children, especially those who live in the cities and have been taken over by unhealthy lifestyles. Little or no efforts is made to practice healthy living.

I remember visiting my 89 years old grandpa in the village and to my greatest surprise, I saw him riding his bicycle without any form of struggle. Guess where he was going to? To his farm. Cycling is really a good form of exercise that helps you burn more fats without trying to hard; it keeps one fit if it is done regularly. Exercising at least twice in a week if not always keeps you younger and stronger by the day. You must not go to the gym to achieve this, you can work out in your home and at your own convenience. This will surely give you same effects as that in the gym.

Almost everyone in the village either owns a farm or small garden where fruits and vegetables are planted either for sale and consumption. My grandparents parents preferred eating fresh and natural edibles.
At times our work or business takes so much of our time that we rely so much on processed foods which can be detrimental to our health. Inventions of hazardous chemical food preservatives to preserve has made it even more difficult for those who want to live healthy. Thereby making some growing their fruits and veggies themselves.

The older generation attached great value to advise because they understood it's importance. Today we have counsellors who have been trained to assist people with their problems which so many are scared due to their lack of trust. This can result to depression which can lead to death if not properly managed.

As my sister will always say, it is not enough to eat healthy, exercise always and you are not at peace with yourself. You can do all of this but still look sick. At times we get this feeling of fear for the unknown, our minds are troubled and our sleep is taken away. Practicing yoga is one way to keep your body healthy.

DO YOU KNOW?

  1. That you can eat your soup fresh even though it is refrigerated? You can do that by not using fresh vegetables for the soup and using it when you want to eat it. It is more nutritious and healthy.

  2. That counsellors are trained experts that helps you with problems you face in life be it personal and social. Also technology has made counselling easier by providing such services online.

  3. That yoga relaxes your whole body, including your mind. it has to do with different postures and helps greatly in meditation.
